The high altitude concerts take place during the day at sites chosen by the festival for the majestic scenery and exceptional panoramas they offer to lovers of contemplation. The concerts are integrated as naturally as possible and the artists who perform there are programmed according to the place and the music that each natural context inspires to the organizers, nourished by the desire to share with the visitors a feeling of elevation in the airs of the Alps and of music.
The concerts are free, but the spectators have the possibility to support the festival by buying souvenirs: bracelets, glasses, Tshirts, etc. As a kind of souvenir and to say "we were there" and "we support".
Access to the sites is generally via the ski lifts and these are not free. The spectators are asked to get there counting the necessary travel time which is advised on the festival website. For each concert in altitude, a "bad weather" solution will be considered. These will be communicated via the festival website and facebook.
In the early evening, from 5pm, it's concert time in the center of Chamonix! Parc Couttet becomes the focal point of the festival, hosting the large covered stage from July 22 to 27, 2024, for concerts from 5pm to 11pm. In this verdant setting in the heart of Chamonix, against the Maison des Artistes, you can also take advantage of the Cosmojazz village with its bars, small restaurants and festival merchandising store.
